Antonym

Antonym is a word that has meaning of  the opposite of each other. Antonym  has same meaning with ‘the opposite’.

Antonim adalah suatu kata yang artinya berlawanan satu sama lain. Antonim disebut juga dengan ‘lawan kata’.

The negative connotations of certain word are also called antonyms . So, An antonym is a word or phrase in the opposite meaning of certain words or phrases in the same language.

Definition of Cardinal Number

We always meet cardinal numbers, but sometimes we short them as cardinals. Cardinal is a number which is used for counting. In mathematics, it is very useful because without number, we can’t count anything. Cardinal number uses symbol like, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, etc.

I eat an apple (Saya memakan sebuah apel)	An apple is eatten by me. (Sebuah apple dimakan oleh saya)

Passive voice itu memiliki formula

S + Tobe + V3

Jenis-jenis tobe:

Present    : am, are, is

Past        : Was, were

Example of passive voice: 

1.     I bring two books from the library (active)

Two books from the library is brought by me. (Passive)

2.     My father bought a car yesterday. (Active)

A car was bought by my father yesterday. (Passive)
