'HOW MANY BOOKS DO YOU HAVE?'

Last week, my friends and I were having a course. That's my favorite lecture because we will talk about books and many things about literature.

"How many books do you have?" My lecturer, alm Mr. Soetrisman, M.Sc. asked us when we were in Literary Appreciation course.

The class was silent, I looked my friends just keep their mouths closed.

After that, One by one of my friends just answered 5s, 10s, 15s, 20s and they didn't answer more than 50 books. Finally, that arrived in my seat, he repeated again the question, I answered, "more than 80, Sir.."

My book collections
He just smiled, "Good, I have more than 1000 books, so if you have been in college, you should have hundreds books since you're in elementary school."

"I'll try to collect like you, try to keep my book, it's not only paper, but also I'll find many new things there, yeah.. because I love reading, it's my breath.." Whispers me in my heart..

"So... how many books do you have?"

4 years later...
I remember that question after I trimmed my book shelf, yeah.. It's not more than 1000 books, but I'm sure I have more than 300 books now. I'm very happy got literary course in my college, and I'm proud to meet him in my life.
