 Giving Direction
  •        Where is the .... ?
  •            Can you tell me where ....  is?
  •            How do I get to .... ?
  •           I’m looking for ....
  •            Where can I find .... ?
  •            Could you tell me how I can get to .... please?

·      Go Straight ahead.
·      Turn left/right at the  . . . / as you come out  of the elevator
·      Go across the . . . .
·      Get usp stairs/down stairs.
·      Go up/down in the elevator/lift.
·      Take the elevator/lift to the ...
·      It’s on the . . . . floor.
·      It’s in the basement.
·      It’s next to/beside . . . .
·      It’s between . . . and . . . .
·      It’s at the end of the corridor.
·      It’s on your right/left.

Asking for Direction
 Giving Direction
  •           Could you tell me where ....is?
  •          Could you direct me to ...?
  •            Can you tell me how to get to ...?
  •            Would you tell me the way to ...?
  •            How far is ...?
  •            Where is the nearest ...?
  •           Which way is it to ...?

·         Go ahead.
·         Go straight down this road.
·         Go straight over.
·         Follow this road/street as far as the ...
·         Take the first left/right.
·         Go around the corner to your left.
·         Turn left/right.
·         Cross the street/road.
·         Take the left/right turn.

  Notice how these sentence are used to give direction

a.  At junction
-      Turn left
-      Turn Right
b.  At an intersection/crossroad.
-      Go ahead.
-      Go straight on.
-      Go straight over.
c.   at a roundabout.
- Take the second exit.
- Take the third exit.

        : From here, it is T-junction,  you can go  straight,  there is an intersection then turn right,  finally  you will pass the teachers' room and administrative space  room  is on the right side of teachers' lounge .
Yuna              : Thank you Mr. Bi.

My Hobby

Hello..
I am Selvi Yuliani, you can call me Selvi. Here i i'll tell you about my hobby. Do you know my hobby? My hobby is writing. I like to writing because it's fun activity. Maybe a lot of people thinks that writing was boring, but i don't, because writing can train someone accuracy. By writing, i can pour out of my heart. I usually write about the thinks I've been through every day. So i can take lesson from the problem i have ever experienced. I even made my diary book as friends to share stories.
Do you know? I also like to dance. But i would prefer to write rather than dance, because dancing is very tiring. This is my hobby that i can tell you. Now, what's your hobby?

             English as a language is main part of communication. Language provide the system communication which can transfer one idea to another person. Language has many parts of language skill. Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English as Second Language (ESL) provide many materials. In Indonesia, we use English as foreign Language. So, Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) include this materials.
There are three Basics and  four  language  skills.
1.       Three Basics Skill are:
a.     Part of speech (Jenis –Jenis Kata)
The components of part of speech;
1.     Pronoun ( Kata ganti )                               
2.      Adverb ( kata keterangan
3.     Noun ( Kata Benda )                                    
4.      Conjunction ( kata penghubung )
5.     Verb ( Kata kerja )                                  
6.      Preposition ( kata depan )
7.     Adjective ( kata sifat )                              
8.      Interjection ( kata seru )
9.     An Article ( kata sandang )      
               
2.       Tenses (Bentuk waktu)     
There are sixteen (16) tenses;

2.     Present Continuous Tense
3.     Present Perfect Tense
4.     Present Perfect Continuous Tense
B.   Past Tense
5.     Simple Past Tense
6.     Past Continuous Tense
7.     Past Perfect Tense

9.     Simple Future Tense
10.          Future Continuous Tense
11.          Future Perfect Tense
12.          Future Perfect Continuous Tense
D.   Past Future Tense

The types of sentences by structure are;
