English Language Learning for Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL)

             English as a language is main part of communication. Language provide the system communication which can transfer one idea to another person. Language has many parts of language skill. Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English as Second Language (ESL) provide many materials. In Indonesia, we use English as foreign Language. Example Job Interview Questions and Answer

Here are the example of Job Interview question and the answer.  It is the example of Interview between Miss Arifta as Interviewer (Someone who give questions) and Miss Astri as an Interviewee (Someone who is interviewed). This story about, Miss Astri is interviewed because she applied the job vacancy as a teacher. So, Miss Arifta interviews her. Here are some conversations of the job interview question and the answers.

Interviewee            : Miss Astri Yuslita Irianti

Arifta    : What can you tell me about yourself?

Astri      :My name is Astri Yuslita Irianti, and my friends call me tita. I was born in Magelang, Febuary 13^th 1992. I live in, Mungkid, Magelang. I am a college student in Tidar Magelang University. I take  English Department Faculty of Education and teacher training.

Arifta  :What languages do you speak?

Astri    :First, I speak mother language. It is Javanese, and then I speak Indonesian, and third I can speak English.

Arifta :Do you prefer working as member of team or would work by alone?

Astri    : I am equally comfortable working as a member of a team and independently. In researching the LMN Company, your mission statement and the job description, I could see similarities to my previous position where there were some assignments that required a great deal of independent work and research and others where the team effort was most effective. As I said, I'm comfortable with the both.

In high school, I enjoyed playing volley ball and performing with the theatre group. Each required a different kind of team play, but the overall goal of learning to be a member of a group was invaluable. I continued to grow as team member while on my sorority's debate team. I'm very comfortably working on a team, but I can also work independently, as well.

Arifta  :How often do you lost your temper?

Astri    : Everyone loses their temper sometime or the other. When people make false commitments, back stabs someone or make mistakes purposely, that’s what makes me upset. I try not to raise voice in an argument, instead first try to make a friendly approach. I go out of way and try to understand the reason for the problem. If  the mistakes are done purposely then I do take a stern action.

Arifta :How have you benefited of disappointment?

Astri   : I think,  the benefit of disappointment is  we can change our mind from A to B. And it is not good if we just always disappointed and do not think the changing or problem solving.

Arifta :What do you think if you do the best?

Astri   : Yes, I think that I do the best. I will do my work with spirit and energy in my mind and also my body. I want to move from one position to better position.

Arifta :Do you work well under the pleasure?

Astri   : Yes, I work well under the pleasure, because It make me spirit and work well.

Arifta :What do you do when you have trouble/problem solving?

Astri   : I will choose the best problem solving that I have taught in my mind, I will search the best problem solving to make everything is better.

Arifta :How long will you stay in this company?

Astri   :  I will stay in this company as long as can stand in this company, when my body and my mind want to stay here.

Arifta :What are your long term carrier objective?

Astri   : I have some short term and long term career goals in my life. In short term goals, I want to get a challenging and innovative job in the international market according to my idea and my skills, which helps me to learn and to grow professionally. In long term goals, I want to improve my knowledge and professional skills in the upcoming technologies and to achieve such a position which worth according to my experience and knowledge.
My long-term goals are towards making a positive impact in the company though my expertise and ethics. I also look forward to develop myself in leadership areas through experience and training offered by the company.

Arifta :Tell me why this company should be hire you?

Astri   : Because I  will work well, and It is same that we study and get knowledge,  making friend, and get new  family.
